4 Ocean Rulers called "Yonkou" in One Piece
In the world of One Piece, the term Yonko or the title of the four Emperors of the Sea is .Yonko itself is a term that refers to the great power in the ocean in the One piece series. This big name with a bounty of billions can intimidate pirates just by its name alone. Not only pirates, even the Navy or Marine is reluctant to this sea emperor.
Before the defeat of Yonko Kaido and Bigmom in the Wano arc by the Worst Generation alliance, there were four great pirate names who managed to get the title of Yonkou. These names are Kaido the Beast King, Big Mom, Shanks the Red Hair, and Marshall D Teach or Kurohige.
With the fall of two Yonko and in order to maintain stability in the world of One Piece, the World Government immediately set four big names to become the new Yonko or fill the existing vacancies.
Here are the names of the four newest Ocean Emperors in the One Piece World:
1. Akagami No Shanks.
Shanks is the Captain of the Akagami or Red Hair pirates. Having a strong and tough crew, making himself one of the Yonko in One Piece since six years ago.Even during the events of the Marineford arc, with his title as Yonko, he was able to stop the war.
Until now, the full power of Shanks is still a puzzle. However, with the release of the One Piece movie entitled Red this year, it is certain that Shanks is a powerful Haki power user.
Evidently in the movie, it was seen that Admiral Fujitora and Admiral Borsalino did not move when dealing with him.
It is also known, Shanks only has one arm, but it is said that he has extraordinary strength even though he does not eat demon fruit. This has been confirmed by Oda before.
Not only that, Shanks' strength has also been recognized by the World Government to pirates like Shirohige and Kaido. The World Government has set the price for his head at 4,048,000,000 Belly.
2. Marshall D Teach
Marshal D Teach or commonly referred to as Kurohige (Blackbeard) made himself one of the Yonko thanks to his actions that disrupted several regions in the One Piece world.
After killing the previous Yonko, Shirohige or Whitebeard in the Marineford war, he descended to the New World and slowly began to expand his power by taking over Shirohige's territory and defeating the rest of Whitebeard's pirate crew.
Kurohige is also the only character in One Piece who can eat two demons at once, the Logia-type Yami Yami no Mi and the Paramecia-type Gura Gura no Mi. Marshal D. Teach has a hunting price of 3,996,000,000 Belly.
3. Monkey D. Luffy
Get to know the Power System in One Piece
Every "shounen" manga in the fantasy genre is unique in the way things work in that world. In the world of One Piece, there are things that magically and wonderfully happen in this manga. In the world of One Piece, there are currently 2 sources of power that prevail in the pirate era. With these two powers, these people can search for One Piece treasures. What are these 2 powers, let's take a look?.
1. Devil Fruit
Devil Fruit is a mysterious and distinctive fruit scattered around the world, known for giving the eater special abilities and powers but with the side effect of losing the ability to swim.
Devil Fruits are very numerous. It is estimated to number in the hundreds with each having different powers, ranging from the (seemingly) ordinary to those with the power of mass destruction. Devil Fruits are broadly categorized into three classes: Paramecia, which offers a wide array of strange abilities, Logia, which gives its users the power to become and control natural elements, and Zoan, which allows its users to transform into animals or animal hybrids.
Many of the most important people in the world are devil fruit users, especially among the Three Great Powers. Therefore, in addition to its rarity, Devil Fruit is highly sought after; a single Devil Fruit can be worth hundreds of millions of Berries and some parties are working to artificially create it so that it can be mass-produced for warfare purposes. A person/beast/thing can only consume and gain power from one Devil Fruit, except for one person.
Like Monkey D Luffy is a paramecia devil fruit eater (originally) Gomu-gomu no mi, which last year a fact was revealed that Luffy's devil fruit was Zoan Awakening: Sun God Nika mode. From the beginning of the chapter, we know that Luffy's power is a rubber fruit that can lengthen his entire body. After the story developed for about 25 years, we were treated to the fact that his strength was not limited to rubber but the imagination of the devil fruit user depending on the creativity of the user.
2. Haki
Haki 覇気 (meaning "Ambition"?) is a mysterious power found in every living being in the One Piece world. It is not much different from normal senses. However, most people are unaware or fail to awaken them. In general, there are two types of Haki for everyone, given the right training. However, there is a third type of haki and only a select group of "chosen ones" can possess this haki. In simple terms, Haki is the ability to sense spiritual energy and defeat enemies.
According to Silvers Rayleigh (Luffy's Teacher) "Haki is the power latent in every human being, the "instinct", the "fighting spirit", and the "power to compel". Those are all sensations that humans definitely have. However, most humans are unaware of that power. Or maybe they spend their lives trying to draw it out, but still can't." There are three types of Haki .
- Kenbunshoku Haki, which gives users a sixth sense of the world around them and limited precognitive abilities.[3] Users can hone their skills to such an extent that they can predict the future, as seen with Charlotte Katakuri.[14] Enel uses her Devil Fruit, the Goro Goro no Mi, to significantly increase her radio detection range.[15]
- Busoshoku Haki, which allows users to use their spirits as armor to defend against attacks or make their own attacks more powerful.[3] Users can learn to use the Koka Technique over their entire body and \or weapon.[16] Furthermore, when clashing with other Busoshoku Haki users, users with lower levels will feel the impact to some degree, ranging from swelling.[17], physical changes.[18]
- Haoshoku Haki, a rarely used one-in-a-million type of Haki that grants the user the ability to defeat the will of others.[3] Users of this type of Haki seem to be somehow ranked, as Chinjao claims that one can become "the pinnacle of all conquerors".[19]
Luffy has been practicing haki with Silvers Rayleigh who mastered 3 haki at once. He can already master Kenbunshoku and Bushosoku. While practicing Rayleigh already knew that Luffy had a rare Haoshoku power. This power can subvert living things that have low haki power.

One Piece Island exists in the real world?
In the world of One Piece, there are many islands visited by the main character, Monkey D Luffy. Until now, it is not known how many islands exist in the world of One Piece. Each island is a place where an arc/saga will begin. The presence of these islands makes the scenes in this series memorable. Like the island of the zombies, fishman island, giant island and so on. But did you know that Oda created these islands based on our current real world? What are these islands? Let's take a look at which islands are Oda's references.
1. Alabasta
Alabasta is one of the most memorable islands for fans. This island has very clearly imitated desert countries such as Arabia and Egypt. This island is described as a very dry island because rainwater has never fallen on the island for years. Not only are things visually the same, but also what happens in the real world is also depicted on the island. When the main character and his friends (the Straw Hat Pirates) entered this island, there was already a civil war between the Alabasta Kingdom and its own people because it was influenced by a Shicibukai (a pirate affiliated with the government) named Crocodile. Luffy and his friends try to solve the problem.
2. Water Seven
Water seven is a saga that many fans like because the drama presented is very epic, the battle scenes are cool, and of course what we underline here is the island. This is a city in Paradise known for its shipwrights. The Straw Hat Pirates stopped here to trade in their gold for belly, as well as to repair the Going Merry (a ship) and also to find a new shipwright for their crew. It is part of the route they log was on, heading there directly after Long Ring Long Land, making it the eighth island in Paradise that they visited. The city is inspired by the city of Venice in Italy.Architecturally, Water Seven is Venice itself. By the 12th century Venice had extensive shipyards with professional shipbuilders capable of producing one ship every few hours.Likewise Water7, they have the most famous shipyard in the Grand Line (the largest ocean in the world of One Piece).
Not only inspired from abroad. Oda also really describes the atmosphere of Japan in the past in his work called Wano. This island was described in ancient Japan where it was very thick that people still wore kimonos and also carried katanas. Samurai and Ninja are the guardians of the village. Then typical Japanese street food vendors and samisen (Japanese musical instruments) also reinforce this impression that this is Japanese culture. In this saga, the Strawhat Pirates try to save Wano Island from the threat of Kaido who wants to make Wano his base. It turns out that not only in terms of the same architecture, but also the story that occurs in this saga is very similar to the Japanese literature entitled "Momotaro"
One Piece Fan Very Militant?
Why does One Piece still have so many fans? This manga has been in production for half a century, since 1997. The 90s generation, which used to follow it until now, still wants to follow this long series. What's more, the increase in readers from the 2000 generation has made this manga, published in 2022, have fantastic sales so that it can enter the top 5 best-selling comics and stand side by side with the most popular western comics, namely Batman and Superman.
